It's The Start of Something New!

During the month of May, our biggest focus was on our yard. Pretty much every weekend we were out there working on something. It was a lot of work. There were weeds to pull (aren't there always?!!?), decorative rocks to move, mulch to rake out, new mulch to put in, flowers to buy, plants to buy, new mulch and potting soil to buy--then of course the next step was for us to put all of our purchases into the ground in our yard. We loved doing it, but what we love even more is looking at it now that it's done! We just bought our porch bench this week and Greg built it that same night. We love sitting on it in the evenings...staring at our new little colorful flower patch. :) There are still a few things to do--I want 2 big pots with flowers in them on either side of our bench, and we also want to get 2 hanging pots to put in our archway. Yay for our new yard! Oh, and we trimmed up our trees and of course re-mulched around them as well...they look so much better! So fun.
