Luke's Star Wars Party....

Luke has been so excited for a Star Wars party for about 6 months. hehe. He's been waiting a long time for this! :) The party was super fun and a huge success. We're so glad Luke has such good friends and that this was such a special day for him! Oh, and before the party Luke had his 2nd soccer game...and scored another goal!!

 When Luke's friends started to arrive, their first task was to create their own light saber. *we cut pool noodles in half and stuck dowels into them for the handle*

 Receiving their first Jedi training...

 They are under attack (black balloons)..fighting to save the galaxy!

 Receiving more training...they are about to use water balloons to destroy the Death Star! *Greg drew a giant Death Star on our drive way, and tie fighters on our house with side walk chalk*

Bless you Greg. :) He filled up 40 water balloons for the Death Star task!!

Next task: help clean up the astroids after an astroid attack.  *I wrapped their party favors in tin foil and each kid had to pick up 5 "astroids" to put into the party favor bag they had decorated*

 opening presents is always fun...I love how the kids get closer and closer and pretty soon they are all practically on top of each other trying to get a closer look...and trying to help unwrap! :)

We're pretty sure all the kids had a great time. Luke loved his party and had a smile on all day. We love our Lukey and look forward for the fun things we have planned for him tomorrow on his actual birthday!
