Father's Day at our house...

Yesterday was a wonderful day at our house!
Greg is such an amazing dad-- our kids absolutely
adore him and he adores them right back...
makes for a very happy home! :)

We started out the day by making a yummy
breakfast for daddy while he was sleeping in.
Greg then finished preparing his lesson
for E.Q. that he taught (went really well!!).
After church we had our awesome neighbors,
and friends, over for a yummy dinner and dessert!
It turned out to be a Super Fun and Great day.

But here's something that went a little
unexpectedly different than any other Sunday...
Luke always wants to fall asleep on the way home
from church (nursery must wear him out!)
Sometimes we let him fall asleep,
other times we talk to him and ask
him questions the whole way home to keep him
awake so he'll go to bed at a normal hour.
Yesterday we decided we'd let him fall asleep
because he woke up pretty early and
he just looked exhausted.
Okay, to make a long story short....
his naps usually last for 2-3 hours.
Well, yesterday he slept from
3:30 pm to 1:00 am.
He woke up only enough for me to
change him and give him a drink
and then fell right back to sleep and
slept until 6am!! What??!! That is like a
total record of the LONGEST sleeping
hours in Luke history.
I'm just glad he didn't want to stay awake from
1 am on...that would have been rough on the mommy! :)
